Honeywell provides adaptors and storage tubes for HERMetic gauges and samplers for connection on already installed non-Honeywell valves onboard. With these, users can install gauges and samplers on any vessel already equipped with ball valves.
What Is It?
Portable level gauging and sampling equipment. Honeywell provides adaptors and storage tubes for HERMetic gauges and samplers for connection on already installed non-Honeywell valves onboard.
- TS 55000: Used to connect all HERMetic units with 1-inch quick connect coupling to valves with UNF 2 1/2 inch connection.
- TS 55115: Used to connect all HERMetic units with 2-inch quick connector to valves with UNF 2 1/2 inch connection.
In addition, other special adaptors are available on request.
How Does It Work?
Matching tank tables and knowing valve types and reading index reference heights are essential. Storage tubes and a grounding strap are used to ensure safe and accurate connection when working with foreign valves.
What Problems Does It Solve?
The special storage tube and adaptors allow easy connection on foreign valves without needing to change installed ball valves or correct tank tables, simplifying installation on vessels already equipped with non-Honeywell valves.
