Honeywell's HERMetic UTImeter Rtex is a portable electronic liquid level gauge designed for gauging petroleum products under restricted conditions. It is used for custody transfer, cargo control measurement and free water detection on marine vessels.

The HERMetic UTImeter Rtex is a portable electronic liquid level gauge designed for gauging petroleum products under restricted conditions. It provides continuous temperature reading, ullage measurement and oil-water interface detection. It is used for custody transfer, cargo control and free water detection on marine vessels, operating with a vapor control valve. It allows easy battery exchange and can be fitted with interchangeable adaptors for connection on different valves. Tape cleaning devices, window wiper and tape protection are standard parts. It enables three measurements in a single operation:
- Ullage level measurement
- Temperature verification
- Oil-water interface level identification
How Does It Work?
The sensor is factory calibrated with no subsequent calibration required. The temperature probe (RTD element) sends true temperature values.
