The MMC ASIA D-2401-2 Closed Gauging Gas-Tight UTI Tape is a high-precision portable electronic tank gauging instrument designed for safe and accurate measurement of Ullage, Temperature and Oil/Water Interface (UTI) in closed marine cargo tanks.
The MMC D-2401-2 FlexiDip Tri-Mode Gauging Tape is specially designed for closed gas-tight applications, helping minimize the escape of cargo vapours during tank gauging operations. The system allows operators to perform essential cargo measurements through a compatible closed tank gauging and vapour control system, making it suitable for oil tankers, chemical tankers, product tankers, offshore installations and petroleum storage applications.
The instrument combines three essential functions in one unit: Ullage measurement, temperature measurement and oil/water interface detection. The sensor is connected to a graduated electronic gauging tape and can provide audible indications during ullage and interface detection, helping operators accurately identify liquid levels and the interface between oil and water.
